The Basic Process

Printmaking at it's most basic level is stamping (I know some of you fellow printmakers will cringe at that. Think back to when you were in kindergarten and your teacher gave you that little potato and a dish of tempura paint. You know what you were doing? Yup, you were making a print.

My printing practice has moved beyond the humble beginnings of potatoes and tempura paint. Some of us abandon the things of our your, but I and many others have taken a simple technique and moved into more sophisticated printmaking techniques. .
